The same 210D Gridstop we’ve known and loved for years, now available with Dyneema. This popular backpack material is made stronger and more abrasion resistant by a Dyneema UHMWPE fiber reinforcement grid on top of the base ripstop pattern.
The Dyneema grid also results in exceptional underline; tear and tensile strength compared to many 100% nylon or polyester fabrics without reinforcement.
This fabric is waterproof/non-breathable with a PU coating on the backside and Durable Water Repellent (DWR) front.
This style Gridstop fabric has been used for years by the best in the business and is commonly seen in high-end backpacks and other gear. It has a base weave of nylon 6 and Dyneema content equaling ~9% of the total fabric weight.
Typical uses include backpacks, pouches, reinforcement areas, or any application that will see a lot of wear and abrasion. Examples include such activities as climbing, long distance hiking, etc.

More waterproof (~2000 mm HH) via a thicker, polyether based PU coating.
Maximally abrasion and cut resistant with a 3 x 3 mm UHMWPE ripstop grid. This fabric is also more sustainable, as one of the first materials to use a 100% recycled nylon base in combination with a PFC/PFAS free C0 DWR (Durable Water Repellant).

100D ROBIC ripstop nylon was custom woven and produced with simplicity and design in mind – all at a price that won’t leave you destitute.
SIMPLICITY – In true minimalist spirit, 100D ROBIC uses a basic square grid ripstop (no hex, diamonds, or thunderbolts…) combined with a super-strong high-tenacity ROBIC nylon 6 base.
Both our 100D and 210D ROBIC fabrics feature a proprietary backside coating called UTS (Ultra Tear Strength)
Unlike many traditional PU coatings, UTS is specially formulated to increase tear strength while offering excellent hydrolysis performance (i.e. breakdown of coating in water).
